Favorite Web sites

Here is a smattering of what I think are the some of the best sites on the web for old boats. If you have more then let me know!!

So far these seem to be the ones that I end surfing everyday.

The Wooden Boat Forum.

There is about a billion years of maritime experience locked up on the WB forum. Just watch out for the politics and nutjobs...

The Classic Plastic forum:

and its parent site www.triton381.com

I really do blame Tim Lackey for me owning this boat. He inspired me when I saw his boat AND what he started out with!

Yup....same boat. Read all about it at www.triton381.com (make sure you check out the Daysailer as well!)

www.goodoldboat.com

If you are attracted to classic old glass boats....just go ahead and subscribe!

Please subscribe to good old boat through the Alberg 35 website www.alberg35.org/ to help support it.

Andiamo

This blog has been set up to chronicle the vessel Andiamo. Andiamo is a 1962 Alberg 35 that we sail out of the Rappahannock River.

She has had two prior owners, Raul Frye and most recently, Ben Shaver. She was kept in the annapolis area..

We purchased her in Sept of 2005.

Her we plan to keep notes of any cruises, repairs and events regarding our ownership of the boat.
